Santos em Santos Festivities

By this time you probably already heard about Santos Populares, right?

In Santos Populares, Lisbon and other Portuguese cities celebrate the patron saints with street parties, grilled sardines, music, dancing, and lots of beer throughout June — especially on the night of Saint Anthony, when the whole city turns into one big festival.

And this location is no exception!!

Santos em Santos is one of Lisbon’s biggest Santos Populares parties, held at the Terrapleno de Santos by the river. It’s especially popular with Erasmus students and young locals because it combines traditional Portuguese Santos culture with a more modern festival vibe.
